World Chess, the official organiser of the World Chess Championship Cycle, in cooperation with the World Chess Federation (FIDE) is pleased to open the bidding procedure for the “Official Insurance Partner” position within World Chess Championship Cycle 2018-2020 events.

Events within the World Chess Championship Cycles 2017 – 2018 and 2019 - 2020:

The World Chess Championship Match, London, November 8-28 2018
Grand Prix First Leg – February 2019, TBC
Grand Prix Second Leg – May 2019, TBC
Grand Prix Third Leg – July 2019, TBC
Grand Prix Fourth Leg – November 2019, TBC
Candidates Tournament – March 2020, TBC
World Chess Championship Match – November 2020, TBC

The insurance policy agreement covers the following types of insurance (without limitation):

Liability insurance of event organizer;
Event cancellation and/or postponement;
Insurance for players during the events;
Director’s and officer’s insurance;
other types of insurance.
